BMR Group’s shrimp farms are located along the east coast of South India, in Andhra Pradesh. Spread across 350 hectares, the farms nurture high quality seed from BMR’s own hatcheries. High protein nutritious feed, NO ANTIBIOTICS, bio security measures, water purity and adherence to BAP guidelines ensure the most sought after shrimp.

METHODS OF HARVESTING

Latest scientific methods of harvesting and employing skilled workers ensure the best catch without injury to the shrimp. Qualified technicians supervise the harvest day after day.

WATER TESTING

Optimum purity of water on all our farms are maintained by extensive testing according to a variety of parameters on a daily basis. The water quality replicates the ideal conditions of a natural habitat.

FEED SOURCE

BMR Group has developed its own high quality, low cost feed source which has translated to higher returns for farmers. This highly nutritious feed that costs less than $1 is manufactured at a brand new BAP 4 star certified feed mill that is the largest in India.

CONTRACT FARMING

BMR Group's contract farming is a successful initiative to support the local community as well as increase productivity. Contract farmers are supplied high quality seeds from BMR Groups own hatcheries along with technology, and nutritious feed. The harvest is bought back by the Group, providing the farmer a risk free, profitable means of livelihood.
